The team went to view apartments at Commercial Road by MAX serviced apartments, Limehouse, London, E14......here are their thoughts...
It was a sunny day in London and I was out and about in London on behalf of Prestige Apartments during the afternoon!
I had gotten an invitation from MAX serviced apartments to go and see one of their newly opened properties in Commercial Road. We have Fashion Week coming up in London so theserviced apartments industry are hosting their own little version of this glamorous event.
I don’t want to complain too much about London’s transportation network, but after over an hour on the tube the air-conditioned apartments at Commercial Road were like a gift from heaven. I was met by the lovely Hannah, and taken around the property for a tour of the various apartments. Upon arrival I was offered a glass of wine. I unfortunately had to decline this generous offer however, as after all, I was supposed to be back on duty at the office after the viewing!
Hannah showed me a one-bedroom apartment that they have at this property. It was really nice, with a very simplistic but still very stylish décor and colour scheme, a light living room and a modern kitchen. The current guests have also been lucky enough to be able to enjoy the fantastic summer that we’ve been blessed with, out on the private terrace/balcony that comes with all of the apartments.
I was also taken up to see the Deluxe two-bedroom apartment that offer s not only one, but two balconies (!) and a bedroom with an en-suite. I can only imagine that there will be guests who will be fighting over who gets this bedroom…
With a Tesco next door and Limehouse Station just two minutes walk away it’s a great location for those working both in Docklands and Canary Wharf, being only three stops away via the DLR, or indeed the City, with Bank station just two stops away.
Happy with my visit, I said goodbye to Hannah, plugged my headphones in for some Swedish House Music, yes we are proud of our Avicii, and took the few steps to Limehouse to start my journey home.
After travelling back on a fully packed Circle Line train, (and yes you guessed right, the train was of course stopped in a tunnel for 10 minutes) I was back in the office 3 hours later , slightly warmer and one property viewing richer.
